MC and Resolve are unlikely to have to run simultaneously. If it runs this should yield better performance than a single RTX A6000 OR create a setup with dual bridged RTX A5000 (NVLink) and hope even more MC won't get confused. Hope MC won't get confused and will still pick the Quadro as its own GPU ![]() Would you agree? There are people in this forum who seem to use Geforce GPUs successfully As this is a production environment I think I would stick to this general rule and would not experiment with a single Geforce. ![]() So - I could just buy/build a system with a RTXA6000 but considering this one costs about 4.000€ AND it will still be a lamer choice for Resolve than the Geforce 4090 I am thinking of other solutions.Ĭonsider a workstation with enough slots/lanes and a decent CPU (28+ cores). I plan to create a new workstation which should be capable of rather usual Avid (offline) projects PLUS it shall be a powerhorse for mastering and grading via Resolve.
